MEMBERSHIP CARD POLICY
1. Purpose
The Membership Card is issued by Huggins Credit Union Cooperative Society Limited (“the Credit Union”) to officially identify members, facilitate access to Credit Union services, and promote member benefits. This policy outlines the proper use, care, and restrictions related to the Membership Card.
2. Issuance of Membership Card
A Membership Card will be issued to each member upon admission to the Credit Union.
Cards remain the property of the Credit Union and must be returned upon resignation, termination, or suspension of membership.
Replacement cards may be issued in cases of loss, theft, or damage at a fee determined by the Credit Union.
3. Use of the Membership Card
The card is for personal use only by the registered member and is non-transferable.
Members must present their card for identification when conducting transactions, or accessing member benefits and discounts.
The card may be used as proof of membership when accessing benefits offered by partner organizations.
Misuse of the card, including lending it to others, falsifying information, or using it for unauthorized purposes, is strictly prohibited.
4. Care and Security of the Membership Card
Members are responsible for safeguarding their card against loss, theft, or misuse.
Lost or stolen cards must be reported immediately to the Credit Union.
Damaged cards should be returned to the Credit Union for replacement.
5. Termination of Use
The right to use the Membership Card ceases when membership in the Credit Union ends.
The Credit Union reserves the right to deactivate or request the return of a card at any time if misuse is suspected.
This membership card is the property of Huggins Credit Union.
